New Mexico High Desert

With an elevation around 6,500 feet above sea level, the Catalpa Hills subdivision sits in an arid, high desert area. Gallup and the surrounding area enjoys an average of 279 sunny days per year. Seldom do we experience extreme cold or snowfall like many see in other parts of the country. With around 31” average annual snow fall, we get just enough to enjoy winter, have the water we need for the spring and we can get some great sledding in! We enjoy amazing views in almost every direction!
